Summer is here!!!

Well, summer is in full swing, and though we had our doubts summer would ever get here, we are enjoying it to it's fullest. Zakk finished up baseball with his team winning first place! YAY Mariners. Hannah is still doing gymnastics all summer with increased hours as well as new skills and routines. She is super excited. VEGA is closed for a week and that combined with a really relaxed summer schedule, is giving me lots of quality time with the kids and Rick. We are planning on a really low key summer. A big garage sale and a trip to the beach with friends is about it for us. We are doing a lot of de-cluttering, organizing, and stream lining. Our big project is redecorating Hannah's bedroom. Look for before and after pictures and let us know what you think!! We hope that all of our family enjoys their summer and wish we could visit this year, but it is not in the cards. We also hope that staying close to home will allow us to see a lot of our close friends and maybe meet some new ones!

The Mariners,1st place 2008

The 2008 Cart-wheel-a-thon for American Cancer Society.
One of Hannah's gymnastics team members is a cancer survivor.
A sweet little girl. They raise money every year for the Cancer Society
by getting pledges for each cartwheel they do:) This year they raised over
$2000.

I love Grass Valley Park! We spent an afternoon there with our friends and their dogs!
Hannah has aspirations of becoming the next Dog Whisperer. She is well on her way:)

This picture is so sweet to me. First, I LOVE the
first time the ice cream man comes thru the
neighborhood! second, as most of you know,
my Dad passed away about a month ago, right
before Hannah's birthday. He had sent her a card
with his usual $5 enclosed. It arrived after he passed.
She used that money to buy her brother and her friend
ice cream. It was so sweet!
